Sunday was a day trip to Epson & Ewell Community Fayre, which was held at Hook Road Arena in Epsom and Ewell. We arrived just after one and were greeted by the Epsom Air Scouts that were organising the parking,
There was a wide range of stalls run by local, national charities, local small businesses and clubs, each stall provided entertainment primarily for children. But i did see the Mayor playing ‘Splat the Rat’ . The event had a relaxed atmosphere of a country village fayre.
Their was variety of food as well as those all important ice creams, and to quench our thirst there will be a Beer tent, other attractions included a Dog Show, a talent contest for young people, face painting, and a display of veteran vehicles from the second world war.
Well done to all involved a great event for the Community and Rotary. We had a great time… On the way home we stopped of for a light snack decisions decisions .
